Well-being & Safety – COVID19

Holiday Inn London Gatwick Worth will remain open as of Thursday 5th November 2020 for keyworkers and anyone staying for essential travel.

For your peace of mind, we are accredited as AA Covid-19 Confident, meaning we have in place all the necessary risk assessments, safety measures and staff training in line with government guidelines.

The safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues is our top priority and we have implemented new hygiene procedures above and beyond our standard protocols as well as social distancing measures. Please may we ask our guests to download the NHS Track and Trace app and scan the QR code at Reception when they arrive at the hotel. Please also note that face coverings are now mandatory in all public areas around the hotel, unless seated in our Brasserie or are exempt due to a medical condition.

We have installed the following changes to keep everyone safe:

  • Sanitizer stations located at the entrance and throughout the hotel
  • Social distancing signs and floor markers
  • Protective screens at reception and Brasserie
  • PPE in place for our staff where required
  • One way system in place around corridors with directional signage

We are still serving hot food to our guests but this will now be for Room Service only with a limited menu available – this is served between 5.30pm – 9.30pm. This can be ordered by using your smartphone to scan the QR code on the desk in your bedroom.

Breakfast is also still available for takeaway – a Grab & Go bag can be requested with our Reception team – this is served between 6:30am – 8.00am.

IHG Clean Promise will roll out globally in our hotels. It will become a global brand standard, demonstrating IHG’s dedication to the updated measures and a clean stay.

In addition to IHG’s existing relationships with Ecolab and Diversey, IHG is now partnering with Cleveland Clinic to expand the IHG Way of Clean program with new science-led protocols and service measures.

These additional measures build on our existing best-in-class approach to cleanliness to help your travellers feel safe. It will be an ongoing conversation as IHG continues to work closely with Cleveland Clinic and other partners to understand best practices and define solutions that meet the new health and safety expectations brought on by Covid-19.
