We are looking for a confident and hardworking individual to join our team as the Sales & Marketing Executive. This role is responsible for all marketing material and providing support to the proactive sales team to achieve budgeted sales revenue for the hotel group’s properties.

Within this role, you will design all marketing, advertising and promotional activities for the group hotels, including managing our social media presence.  The role will also undertake proactive sales activities, including sales calls to new customers, research projects, assisting with hosting sales events and attending network events to meet new clients.
Being creative, having a good eye for detail in this role is important, as it involves the creation of promotional material and advertising to customers.

Sales & Marketing Executive will also work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, to relaunch the hotel, promote to agents at national and local meetings.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an individual with experience in the hospitality industry to move within sales and marketing career or someone that has sales or marketing experience within another industry.

  • Manage all social media accounts for the group hotels, designing new content regularly for Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, Twitter and Google.
  • Responsible for all data capturing and updating databases in line with General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Attend hotel shows, agent presentations and local networking events to promote the hotels.
  • Designing and updating all internal & 3rd Party websites with hotel descriptions and promoting sales opportunities.
  • To produce editorials and press releases for magazines, newspapers and other media outlets.
  • Champion for leading the team with new guest sales incentives, with meetings, daily figures and reporting. Responsible for increasing membership numbers and retaining the members through direct marketing.
  • Creation of marketing material to be designed and produced for all hotel requests, internally or liaising with suppliers.
  • Be proactive by making sales calls to companies and organisations to gain leads for new business, to achieve personal and team targets.
  • Take promotional photos and videos for new products, for marketing the hotels on its website and social media platforms.
  • Arrange show round visits to meet new potential customers for the transient and C&E business segments of the hotel.
  • Manage and maintain the Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth and Holiday Inn Express Slough websites, ensuring information is up to date and relevant. Liaise with our Website support team.
  • Responsible for the Events calendar for the group, ensuring future planned events are organised and proactive with sales methods.
  • Design and send to guest’s promotional mailshots on different areas of the business when requested to promote awareness and sales.
  • Taking new enquiries for new sales such as Conferences, Group afternoon tea’s, Wakes & Private events.
  • Complete new contracts on our software Amadeus and weekly Events pack for any up and coming events, discuss with other departments at weekly team meeting.
